Annapurna Base Camp Trek
Make a rendezvous with one of globally popular treks - The Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Mt. Annapurna that rises 8091m is the 10th highest mountain in the world. The Annapurna region lies in the foothill of Mt. Annapurna in the North-central Nepal stretching along with Lamjung Himal from the Kali Gandaki in the west to the Marshyangdi in the east. The trek to Annapurna Base Camp passes through waterfalls, villages, farmlands, rhododendron forests, and vistas invigorates your soul. Since the trek starts from a mere height of around 800 meters the acclimatization process is gradual and you will reach to the high altitude of over 4, 000 meters. Also, you will pass through a diverse geographical and cultural variation with an amazing range of flora and fauna in between. We are sure that your heart will push you to start the trek - just imagine the company of highest mountains in the earth and the magnificence of the sunrise over the snow-capped Himalayas!
The Annapurna Base Camp trek, like others in the Annapurna region, takes off from the lake city of Pokhara. The actual walking begins from Naya Pul which can be reached after a short drive from Pokhara. While trekking along to Ghandruk, marvel at colorful orchids and clear views of the splendid high mountains including the two eight thousands - Mt. Annapurna (8091 m) and Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m). At Ghandruk, enjoy the ethnic hospitality along with the cultural magnificence of Gurung Museum. Trekking further via MBC and we finally reach ABC. Return the same route passing through the Rhododendron forest that bloom with red flowers during the springtime, descend down to Birethanti, passing by waterfalls and few small villages and settlements. Walk to Naya Pul and then drive to Pokhara which announces the end of this marvelous trek.
Day 01 : Katmandu (1310m/4298ft). Welcome assistance at the Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to hotel. Rest at the hotel some time and after that our staff will brief you regarding about the trip. O/N at hotel
Day 02: Kathamndu city tour. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Drive to Pokhara (910m/2986ft.) by tourist bus. Driving to 6 hours, O/N at Hotel.
Day 04 : Drive to Naya Pul (New Bridge) for an hour and trek to Tikhe Dhunga (1495m/4905ft). Walking 3:30 hours,O/N at guest house.
Day 05 : Tikhe Dhunga to Ghorepani (2850m/9350ft). Walking 5:30 hours, O/N at guest house.
Day 06 : Ghorepani to Poon Hill to Tadapani (2520m/8268ft). Walking 6:30 hours, O/N at guest house.
Day 07 : Tadapani to Sinuwa (2310m/7579ft). Walking 6 hours, O/N at guest house.
Day 08 : Sinuwa to Deurali (3150m/10335ft). Walking 6 hours, O/N at guest house.
Day 09 : Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4090m/13418ft). Walking 4:30 hours, O/N at guest house.
Day 10 : Annapurna base camp to Dovan(2600m/8580 . Walking 5:30 hours, O/N at guest house.
Day 11 : Dovan to Chhomrong (2310m/6994ft). Walking 5:30 hours, O/N at guest house.
Day 12 : Chhomrong to Ghaundrung (1940m/6365ft). Walking 4:30 hours, O/N at guest house.
Day 13 : Trek from Ghaundrung to Naya Pul; then drive to Pokhara (910m/2986ft). Walking 4:30 hours and drive for an hour. O/N at Hotel
Day 14 : Drive back from Pokhara to Katmandu by tourist bus. 6 hours driving. O/N at Hotel,
Day 15: Bhaktapur sightseeing tour. O/N at hotel.
Day 16 : After breakfast transfer to the airport for departure.
