Everest Base Camp (EBC) Trek
The Everest Base Camp…where the earth kisses the sky…
The Everest Base Camp trek, a very well known Himalaya trek, starts at the upper Phakding and follows the Dudh Kosi valley then climbs up to the Sherpa capital of Namche, a bustling bazaar that’s a junction for trekkers, the local Sherpa and expeditions route to the mighty Mt. Everest. All along this part of the trail, villages are interspersed with magnificent forests of rhododendron, magnolia and giant firs. In both the early autumn and late spring, the flowers on this portion of the trek make it a walk you will remember for a long, long time.
We trek up to 5,631m for an upfront view of the world’s highest mountain – Mt. Everest. Visit Everest Base Camp, experience authentic Sherpa culture, & walk into famous Buddhist monasteries nestled in the quiet of these magnificent mountains.
General Itinerary
Day 01: Welcome to Nepal, upon your arrival at Tribhuvan airport our representative welcomes you and arranges your transfer to your hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu city tour. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Lukla by air (2840m) and trek to Phakding (2610m). Overnight at Guest House.
Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3446m). Overnight at Guest House.
Day 05: Rest day at Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3867m). Overnight at Guest House.
Day 07: Tengboche to Dingboche (4352m). Overnight at Guest House.
Day 08: Rest day at Dingboche. Day hike to Chukung Valley.(4700m). Overnight at Guest House.
Day 09: Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m). Overnight at Guest House.
Day 10: Lobuche to Gorakshep (5160m). Overnight at Guest House.
Day 11: Gorakshep to EBC (5360m) and return to Gorakshep. Overnioght at Guest House.
Day 12: Gorakshep to Kalapaththar (5545m) for awesome views of EBC and Mt. Everest peak, then head down to Phireche. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 12: Phiriche to Tengboche. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 13: Tengboche to Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 14: Namche Bazaar to Lukla. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 15: Early morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu.Overnight at Hotel
Day 16: Bhaktapur sightseeing. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 17: Rest day and shopping. Overnight at Hotel
Day 18: Transfer from Hotel to Airport and fly to home.
