Open to travelers only since 1991, the spectacular Manaslu region remains a restricted trekking area. As such, its’ trails are less traveled and the Tibetan culture remains more purely intact. A rigorous route with several high passes; this is a remarkably unspoiled trek into the heart of Himalayan splendor with Manaslu itself (26783’) as its centerpiece.

Mustang? Few people outside of Nepal have ever heard of this tiny kingdom and fewer yet have ever trekked there. Yet, the trekking is superb … traditional Tibetan culture, mysterious medieval walled villages, deep river gorges, and a windswept landscape back dropped by the snowy Himalayas. It’s no small wonder why it is called the “last forbidden kingdom”. Special permits required.
